Energy Recovery Ventilator

We spend more than 70% of our time at homes, in offices and other indoor environment. Poor indoor air quality can lead to discomfort, ill health such as headache, itchy eyes, respiratory difficulties, skin irritation, nausea and fatigue, while good indoor air quality safeguards the health of the building occupants and contributes to their comfort and well being.

 

Implementation of air-to-air Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV) can increase the supply of fresh air and also maintain comfortable room temperature through the process of energy exchange between the indoor conditioned air and the outdoor fresh air. The hot outdoor air will be tempered before being supplied to the room, reducing the problems of hot drafts and the extra expenses of pre-cooling.

 

The following two ERV modules (or named as Fresh Air Pre-conditioners) have been used for Schools Improvement Projects since 2002.

ERV-FT (Energy Recovery Ventilator plus Fotocide®) 

ERV-FT integrates Nano-coated Photocatalytic Oxidation (PCO) technology into  Energy Recovery Ventilator. The unit is designed to provide fresh air into a building while exhausting an equal amount of stale air. The unit can transfer heat energy from the incoming fresh air to the outgoing stale air thereby reducing the load (due to ventilation) on the air-conditioning system. In the meantime, air passes through the nano-coated PCO component shall be treated before comes out to the indoor environment.
